Rooting in the Deep Ritual Kit

For when you need to root into the depths above, below, or within.

At the winter solstice, 5785, we wove magiq for ourselves and the world.

We, Ketzirah and Ya, founders of the first house of Tehomic Magiq work with the winter solstice as one of our four portals to anchor into the depths and bring back what is needed in this world. It is when we re-commit and strengthen the bonds that enable and empower our magiq.

After Shabbat left, we entered the ritual space for the winter solstice. Allowing the light to leave and the dark to envelope us. We named what we need, and received what only the depths can know we all need. We lit the candles of the Tiferet year. 

In the center of the altar was a bowl of oil. Grounded with citrine and onyx, and layered with flakes of gold, pine, cedar smoke, and energy. A black candle burned in the center to gather in the deepest darkness. We reached into the depths and drew out resilience, rootedness, and the willingness to prepare and recognize opportunities.

We bottled that magiq, so needed right now, into an oil. We created one for each of us, one to give back to the depths, and 10 to share with all of you.

The heart of this kit is the vial of Tehom Oil, sealed with a cork and secured with bright blue traditional sealing wax. Use a drop when you need to root into the depths above, below, or within. Each vial is unique. Some have bits of gold flake in them, some have bits of herbs or wax. Each seemed to capture a different aspect of the magiq.

Along with that we've included two 6-minute beeswax candles and a mini beeswax Havdalah candle, hand braided by Ketzirah. There is also a mini vial of red jasper, from Ya's stash, for anchoring in the now and alchemizing anger into power as well as flower petals from our solstice ritual working altar, and a small mirror to ward and warn. Finally there is a strip of cedar bark that you can write intentions on and then burn, or simply use as incense or offering. These sit nestled in an abalone shell that Ketzirah has been keeping, apparently just for this moment, that you can use as a candle holder, offering bowl, or whatever uses you desire. 

At the bottom of the kit is a square of red fabric to make an offering or medicine bag. This fabric is from Ya's stash, and is precious because it is one of the last things her mother touched before dying. Lastly a piece of twine to tie your offering/medicine bundle and knot it securely.

Nestled in the bottom of the tin is an picture of our solstice altar, to connect your kit to our working and act as a portal to the magiq.

And of course, we wouldn't provide all of this without additional instructions, incantations, and inspiration that all come on a beautifully designed printout that will accompany the kit.

Last, but not least, before shipping your kit will be sprayed with our Tehomic Initiation Spray, crafted by Ya, to power it up specifically for you.
