The 8th Minyan is Adopted!

I was working on the first golem/et as I learned more about the events at Beth Israel, in Colleyville TX.

I had already decided that this first golem/et was one that protects through love.

Then I heard a clip from an HHD sermon of Rabbi @joshfixler of @golem_museum
“A mindless clay mass cannot save us. We must be the power we need. Where there is hatred, we must be love. Where there is fear we must be hope. Where there is darkness, we must be light.”

In that moment I realized that the theme for the 8th Minyan is LOVE.

AND WHAT IS LOVE? It is the completion of the soul, and it pulling itself toward the Creator so that one can cleave to the Supernal Light. Such a soul is the source of knowledge, and it is pure and refined.

Not coincidentally the month of Shevat, when I began working on this minyan is one that for me corresponds with the soul trait of love, and I was listenign to MLK’s book “A Gift of Love.”
